Leaping Into Fall

How do you feel about the seasons changing? Me? I’m divided. I love summer but enjoy the changing of colors, the crisp nights where a campfire crackles, and a hot cup of coffee with friends is possible. I especially enjoy the chance to decorate my home with cute items I’ve discovered leading up to fall. I love the scent of fall as well. Pumpkin and apple really hit the spot.

One joyful experience I have regarding fall is the chance to bake yummy goodies. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice cookies, pumpkin pie, apple cobbler, apple dump cake, cinnamon apple rolls, and so many other yummy items. The smell of something delicious baking in the oven is a seasonal favorite for most people, I think.

Seasonal traditions are a sweet reminder of years past and a chance to create new memories. I especially love baking with my kiddo. Together we make some amazing dishes and share some wonderful laughter. Nothing beats family time. Sharing traditions makes the experience even more lovely.
